Plants & Pets

Energy is everything, and everything is energy. Even the table that holds this computer is energy. Some energy is dense, like my dining room table, and others are lighter, like a butterfly.
Matter and energy are united in various ways in the material world, but we are all united by this E.N.E.R.G.Y. (I got tired of typing that word, so I mixed it up a bit.)

power. This fits... sort of...
Anyway, because we all have this power to varying degrees, we can interact and assist one another. Even our beloved pets and plants can be affected by energy weaving. Let me tell you a story.

My Christmas cactus was given to me as a cutting six and a half years ago. I loved it, talked to it, and prayed around it, but in all these years, it never blossomed. One day, I finally remembered that I could weave energy with plants, and I read that these beauties love black tea. I did a few energy weaving sessions, watered her with black tea, and she responded well. I believe that the physical, practical, and spiritual work together on this plane of existence. I always try to combine them, even in my energy sessions.
Is your plant burned around the edges of the leaves? It might be getting too much sun. Moving it to a shadier spot and energy-infused music may assist with that.
How about your precious dog, cat, or even your iguana? See this article from the IARP
Primarily, pets and plants respond to these weavings quickly depending on the level of dis-ease or stress but respond they do. My friend's Reiki business is only for pets, and she sees success often and finds this focus very satisfying.
I practiced energy weaving before I knew it, even as a child. I remember playing outside on a breezy Spring day with my friends, and we found a baby bunny that was clearly hurt. I picked him up very carefully and noticed that he was wounded near his ear. I inwardly knew that he had become separated from his family. I intuitively moved my hands over his little body, and suddenly, I knew he was dying. He began to emit an order that I know as the death smell. Believe it or not, it is present in some humans at the time of death. I learned this as an end-of-life Doula. I was sad but surprisingly calm as I held him until he passed, sending energy to alleviate any pain. We each know these energies intuitively, and I especially see it in some children. Pets know it too. How many stories have we heard of pets sensing when we need comfort or even medical attention, as in the case of service dogs that can sense all kinds of imbalances?

I genuinely love contemplating the implications of these things. We can affect each other positively with the awareness of the energy play going on all around us at every moment, and our pets and plants can benefit from our conscious awareness, and we can benefit from theirs. For really, what is this other than love?
May your days abound with love,
Carol
