Springtime Energies

The vernal equinox's energy is a powerful time for most people, and sometimes we are not aware of the influence that it wields. It symbolizes the struggle between light and darkness for those places to the equator's North and South. The Winter months offer time for deep introspection and self-work, and then as the sun gets closer to the earth, it calls us out of ourselves to manifest what we have been processing all Winter. So, Spring's energy is a time of manifestation, birthing, re-birthing, and bringing from the world of the spirit into the physical reality.
We may want to consider how we can get the most out of this time and bring about those things that we have been working on? This is a good time to start new habits, especially those that can be done outside. For example, walking meditation. This can be done in a variety of ways but should always start with the breath. Whatever your breath practice is, you can start with that and then begin your walk. Different people do this in various ways. One way is to choose a favorite saying or quote that has offered you inspiration and contemplate asking questions like how do I apply this truth to my life? What meaning does this hold for me? Here is one of my favorites,
“Imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we’re all in this together.”
Another way is repeating a mantra, whether silently or in a hushed voice, as you walk. A mantra is a special word or phrase that empowers and focuses our energies simply by quieting the mind and allowing space for our souls to influence us. Here are some examples created especially for the chakras.
Finally and my personal love is to serve others. Of all the valid ways of taking us out of our heads, so to speak, this is the most rewarding for me. There are some rules, though, that I put on myself. The first is that I don't talk about it with others because that brings the ego into the mix, and that is not helpful when we are trying to manifest our true selves. The second is to be sure that the motive is as pure as possible. Of course, none of us is perfect, but to try to purify. This practice has the added benefit of creating true relationships with other souls having a human experience, and our world desperately needs more connection and love.
My wish for us all is that we gain a truer clarity within and then draw ever closer to one another in love! Happy Spring!
Love and light,
Carol
